Meet the Designer…

This is Dom and his lovely wife Jenny. They are the dynamic duo behind V. Design. Jenny handles the business end of things while Dom is the designer…and what a designer he is. Every year in Paris when we see the line it never lets us down. Very bold form and shapes, on both temples and fronts, are a consistent theme year to year. Couple that with a very French selection of colorways, and you get something you don’t see every day. Take a peek at some of the frames we just received below:As you can see these may not be the frames for everyone, they are bold and they are colorful. But if you are looking for something a little more special than most other things, these frames may be in your future.

New Frames!!!

New modern metals! They have great colors, details, and smashing silhouettes! All the makings of great glasses. We’re pretty excited around here lately, there has been some really cool stuff coming in over the past couple of weeks. It seems like there have been a lot of new great designs coming out, and thanks to some great buying in Paris, by Mr. Stan himself, we’re seeing we’re seeing tons of it!

Meet the Designer…

So we’re going to start something new! Every so often we are going to post a little something about the designers of the frames that we have here at Eyes on Fremont. We meet quite a number of interesting personalities while we are searching for the latest and greatest glasses trends. We have the privilege of calling some of these people our friends! So here’s our first Meet the Designer…This dapper, young fellow from Holland is Roger. As you can see in the picture he is quite a character. He’s been an optician for a number of years so he really understands the way glasses need to work on someones face while he’s designing. But that’s not the fun part. He moonlights as the front man in the dance cover band Lily White Biscuits. Yup one part frame designer plus one part rock star plus that crazy curly hair equals one incredible optical persona! BTW the cutie next to him in the pic is his wife Silvia. Below are some of the glasses that Roger designs…
