Many of you have had the pleasure of working with Milli from time to time. She’s one of the friendliest & most outgoing members of the Eyes on Fremont family!

There’s always more than meets the eye, so here’s a few tidbits on how Milli came to be at EOF & what she’s all about:
Milli has been a licensed dispensing optician for 1 1/2 years. She finished the opticianry program at Seattle Central Community College & was licensed September 2011. She is also ABO & NCLE certified.
Milli previously was in print publishing before opticianry. She owned a magazine & worked in the PR industry for 20 years before the economy turned around 2007, affecting the publishing world. Deciding it was time for a change, she moved from Los Angeles to Seattle and researched new careers. Opticianry offered her the challenge of learning something new: the mix of science and fashion in the optical field captured her interest.
When Milli isn’t at EOF finding you the perfect pair of glasses, she is most likely “hanging out with family & friends… cooking, eating, & drinking (lol)”.
Quick Q&A with Milli:

Coffee or Tea: Coffee!

As we approach the winter solstice, its obvious the days are getting colder & shorter. However, some people find a way to brighten things up again. When Kathleen picked up her warm & vibrant new glasses the other evening, it seemed as though we got just a stretch more sun!

Nick is a well put-together guy & didn’t need much help in the direction of accessorizing. Maybe that’s why this classic P3 round look was the perfect natural choice!

Its pretty cool for us to walk into our neighborhood coffee joint & pick up something local like CityArts to read while enjoying our latte. What’s even cooler is when we see one of our many talented customers grace the cover of it…

You may already know of the multi-faceted Tomo Nakayama from local bands Grand Hallway or The Maldives. On top of that, he was recently featured in the film Touchy Feely, alongside his musical talents (he composed & performs one of the tracks). Director Lynn Shelton created a role just for Nakayama after seeing him perform live at the Fremont Abbey. Check him out sometime & see why we are so impressed!
