This frame is a dark hunter green on the outside with a brighter lime green on the inside which plays off the design beautifully.
We are excited to announce that starting in September we will have a new independent optometrist at Eyes on Fremont! Dr. Christina Fast graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry and specializes in contact lenses fittings, low vision, pediatric and geriatric optometry as well as primary care. She loves to travel and has volunteered her skills abroad, most recently on an optometry mission to the Dominican Republic. She has also lent herself to programs domestically thru programs like the Gift of Sight & Children’s Health Fair in Chicago. We can’t wait to see how she can help in Seattle! She will be accepting new patients starting on Sept 9, 2009. General Exams will be $95, Contact Lens Exams will be $125-$145 and she will offer a $5 student discount towards services.
MayAnn’s friends Michael & Zachary dropped by the shop this week to pick out new frames and we just had to get a picture of them as they are incredibly handsome in glasses. Zachary found a pair of “wood grained” plastic horn rims that we love on him. You can see the frames in person at the Stumptown on Pine Street where Zachary works as a barista.
Bill was inspired on his recent vacation by a style he saw on the streets of Denver and he came back and designed this rimless look. It has a full groove color painted around the edge of the lens giving it a very distinct look. We can do this technique on any of our Swissflex designs.
