New Arrivals: Two Tone Plastics, Matte & Wood Finish
We just got in a preview of a new collection of plastics specially designed for people with small to no bridge. This is very exciting for us as we have not seen this style of frame with the potential to fit so many people! We will be getting more in the future and based on what we have seen already we can’t wait! Beautiful faux wood, two tone designs and matte finishes make the collection both modern & classic.
Frames On Tour: Sarah & Damien Jurado
Damien Jurado is currently on tour supporting his gorgeous new album Saint Bartlett accompanied by his wife and Eyes on Fremont customer Sarah Jurado. We saw this photo from the road and fell in love with it. You can see all of Sarah’s glimpses of life on the road here.
Customers Around the Shop: Sam Kim @ Tera/En Masse Entertainment
Sam came to us with a mission, get interesting new frames and a pair of prescription sunglasses in time for his trip to sunny Los Angeles where he would be launching a new game at the E3 Expo for his company En Masse Entertainment. We think he accomplished just that and all in time for take-off. He is bound to make an impression with not only his game but his optical styles! Good luck Sam!! We hope you have a blast (don’t forget to wear sunscreen)!!!
Customers Around the Shop: Cleo
Cleo is the perfect patient for our Swissflex Kids collection. She’s adorable, in need of glasses that can handle recess & playtime, and she loves pink. The SF Kids collection was a great match, with lots of color and shape options and durability that can’t be beat. We think they look beautiful Cleo!!
Customers Around the Shop: Jennifer Wheeler
Jennifer came to us after having issues with her contact lenses while racing, ie a contact came out mid-race and she was without vision which ended the race sooner than expected! We recommended checking out the Rudy Project collection and she found a style that suited her and from there we took over. We set her up with a digitally surfaced transitions lens in the shield. The lenses are surfaced specially to accommodate the wrap in the frames and reduce any unwanted distortion in the lenses caused by the curvature. The transitions feature will give her more versatility when racing in different lighting conditions and will go from clear to a darker sun tint based on her level of exposure to UV light. Her first race out with her new glasses landed her in 1st place! You can check out Jennifer’s exploits on two wheels on her blog.
