Ron has worn round frames for a while now and when he came in looking for red we had the perfect frame in mind. We added a matte finish to the front and a wider tortoise temple on the side and we came up with a style that is just right. Ron is an amazing sculptor/metal fabricator and his work is definitely worth checking out:

One of our longtime customers and favorite people to work with was featured in the
University of San Fransisco’s Foghorn Campus Chic profile. Of course they highlighted her super cool eye glass frames, but that’s just one element of her awesome style. Read the whole article by clicking the link!

Can we just say how much we love color!! We love the two tone eggplant/red that Victor is wearing and the turquoise/red that Brennen has. Both frames bring color to the table and do it perfectly. Brennen fell in love with the turquoise pair from Poland after seeing the frames on our blog last fall. Unfortunately someone else fell in love with them too, so they were gone by the time he wanted to order them! It took a little while longer and some cross Atlantic emails to Poland to bring them back, but we’re glad that he had the time to wait because they are fantastic on him.

Orlando & these asymmetrical vintage frames were meant to meet, they just didn’t know it until they did. The vintage frames came to us by chance from a friend of the owner’s in Miami and Orlando stopped by at the perfect time to find them.

Not everyone can pull off a Toyko Tortoise frame, they have a lot of texture, variation in color and lots of yellow shining through. But when it works its an amazing, high impact look that will definitely get the wearer some attention. We’ve started to see more designers incorporating the color with all of the new vintage style inspiration out there and we couldn’t be happier. It also works wonderfully in a sunglass frame as a dark lens can really make the texture stand out.

We were so excited to find these new small plastics. We are always searching for hard to find sizes and these small frames are a perfect fit for someone with a small face who wants a fun & funky style!
