Glenn came in and got some new specs the other day. Nothing too crazy, just right. Check out how perfectly centered his eyes are in the frame, one of the hallmarks of a proper fitting pair of glasses.

This is something really cool for us. Our friend Menno, who runs his family’s frame factory in Holland, sent us these special pieces. They were made to mark the factories 75th year of production. Only 25 pieces were made, and they sent us 3. We feel really fortunate to get any of these. Come see!!!!!

This is Sandra, and we love her new glasses. Everything about them is great. They’re from the Netherlands, the size is spot on, the color looks smashing, it’s tough to find better than this. Sandra works at Nordstrom downtown in Studio 121, if you want to go take a peek in real life.

Okay some exciting stuff came to us yesterday, by way of Belgium. It’s a new line called Louis! These frames are incredible. Really vibrant colors are used throughout the line, and they cover their neutral bases too….but what’s really impressive is how great the shapes are. No foo foo dingle decorations, just really great clean silhouettes. These are shapes that come from someone who really understands that glasses are worn on the face, they don’t just look cool sitting on a shelf.
