Recently we were approached by a group called Soliders Angel’s who were looking for reading glasses. There is a desperate need amoungst the hospitalized veterans in our area for reading glasses and we were able to come up with about twenty pairs so far. If you have any readers around the house that you no longer use, or if you would like to donate a new pair feel free to drop them off at Eyes on Fremont anytime. We will make sure that they find their way to someone who needs them.

New Old Time Chautauqua’s band rocks-out at the Moisture Festival, Seattle, WA, Spring, 2007
For several years now Eyes on Fremont has been a proud sponsor of the Moisture Festival. Every year at the festival they do several shows that benefit very worthy organizations. The artists donate their performances, and all of the profits go directly to the designated nonprofit organizations. The festival kicks off tonight with an opening gala and runs through April 13, 2008. Schedules, tickets and information about the festival can be found online at:
