The results are in!!! Bill is #1!!

The Big Climb was this past Sunday and the race results are in!!

Coming in #1 on the Eyes on Fremont Team was Bill (15:00.75) by a .05 second lead! MayAnn followed (15:00.80)and Nate (17:46.00) came in last place! It definitely wasn’t easy, and we have no idea how the fastest guy did it in 7 minutes and change, but it was for a good cause and it got our hearts pumping. We didn’t beat our fund raising goal but that will motivate us to work harder next year!

Eyes on Fremont makes the Big Climb

Eyes on Fremont is making the Big Climb for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and we need your help! We are a little bit scared of the climb itself but are very excited about helping out a very worthy cause. Who will win???? Bill??? Mayann??? or maybe Nate????

What is the Big Climb?

The Big Climb is a stair climb up the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. There are 69 flights of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788ft of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $550 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
