Starting soon (we don’t have an exact date) the Hallava Falafel truck will be open for business in the parking lot of the Fremont Abbey on Mondays from 11AM-2PM. This is perfect as Paseo is closed on Mondays!

    Just finished Succession…so good! Definite YAY!

    I would love to revisit The Cracked Conch from the Sand Bar at Coral Harbor Beach House & Villas in the Bahamas.

    The Makanai. I enjoyed this Japanese series on Netflix. It’s surprisingly watchable and definitely unique.

    Indian food in Vancouver, BC or field peas, collards and butter beans in North Carolina.

    Sushi! Tempura fried salmon, cream cheese, avocado rolls and sake sashimi with lots of ginger and wasabi from Kyoto Japanese Restaurant in Tacoma, WA.

    Spicy chicken strips from Ezell’s. I’m not sure, and I don’t care, but I think they put crack in those things. With one BBQ and one ranch, not that BBQ/ranch combination junk.

    Vintage / Classic, I’ve always like vintage eyeware. Its cool to see style influence by it become more popular.

    Try on different looks to find what fits you.

    A travel writer for National Geographic and an astrobiologist…I was an ambitious kid.

    I’m really digging the thin, light-weight metal trend. I appreciate the durability and comfortability of a metal frame, and I like the double-bar look. It’s a throwback without being obnoxious.

    When I’m not slinging specs, I like coffee and crosswords, hanging out in hammocks, spontaneous road trips and gin and tonics.
